Employment Type: Full-TimePure Life Filters is seeking an experienced and highly qualified General Manager – Factory to lead the overall operations of our manufacturing facility in Damietta.The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background, extensive experience in industrial manufacturing, and a proven track record in managing large-scale factory operations, achieving production targets, controlling costs, developing teams, and driving operational excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and oversee the overall operations and performance of the factory.Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the company's business objectives.Ensure achievement of production, quality, efficiency, delivery, and cost targets.Manage and coordinate Production, Maintenance, Quality, Planning, Warehouse, and related factory functions.Establish and monitor KPIs for all factory departments and ensure continuous performance improvement.Optimize production processes, manpower utilization, machinery capacity, and operational resources.Ensure effective production planning and execution according to customer requirements and delivery schedules.Control and optimize manufacturing costs, waste, downtime, and operational expenses.Ensure compliance with quality standards, HSE requirements, company policies, and applicable regulations.Lead initiatives for continuous improvement, productivity enhancement, cost reduction, and operational efficiency.Ensure proper maintenance strategies to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.Develop, coach, and evaluate management and supervisory teams and build a high-performance culture.Coordinate closely with Supply Chain, Procurement, Sales, Finance, HR, and Top Management to ensure smooth business operations.Analyze operational reports and provide management with accurate insights, recommendations, and action plans.Identify operational risks and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.Ensure the factory maintains high standards of discipline, organization, productivity, safety, and operational excellence.Represent the factory in meetings with senior management, suppliers, customers, and relevant external parties when required.Job RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Engineering is mandatory.15+ years of total experience in industrial/manufacturing environments.Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior factory management position, such as Factory Manager, Plant Manager, Operations Director, or General Manager.Proven experience managing multiple factory functions and large teams.Strong background in production management, operations, maintenance, quality, cost control, and performance management.Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, capacity utilization, and operational KPIs.Proven track record in improving productivity, reducing costs, and achieving operational targets.Strong leadership, decision-making, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Excellent English communication skills are mandatory.Strong proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems; experience with Odoo is an advantage.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced industrial environment and make sound decisions under pressure.Strong commitment to quality, safety, discipline, and continuous improvement.📍 Location: Pure Life Filters Factory – Public Free Zone, Damietta📩 To Apply: Please send your updated CV to mai.wali@purelife-filters.comSubject: General Manager – Factory
