General Manager

THE ROLEThe organization is seeking exceptional General Managers to lead the operations and ongoing management of major venues and destination assets across Saudi Arabia. The General Manager will hold full accountability for venue performance and operational readiness.RESPONSIBILITIESEnsure safe, compliant, and customer-focused operation.Develop trusted relationships with stakeholders and represent the organization to clients.Manage the venue’s Annual Business Plan, budgets, and performance targets.Lead and inspire the Venue Leadership Team.Establish a culture of operational excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.Oversee the operational readiness for venue openings and major events.Manage commercial strategies to maximize revenue without compromising guest experience.Build effective relationships with event organizers and relevant authorities.Drive the use of data and technology for improved operational performance.PEOPLE AND SAUDI CAPABILITYThe General Manager will focus on building a high-performing local workforce by:Leading recruitment and organizational development.Championing local talent development and knowledge transfer.COMMERCIAL AND FINANCIAL LEADERSHIPTake responsibility for financial performance.Manage operating and capital budgets.Identify new revenue opportunities and ensure resource efficiency.QUALIFICATIONSSignificant senior leadership experience in venue management or related fields.Proven experience in managing large venues or multi-asset destinations.Strong understanding of event operations and financial management.Experience mobilizing new venues would be advantageous.
