They are now seeking to hire a General Manager to be responsible for their manufacturing sites in Penang, Malaysia (24,425-square-meter facilities).Their solutions and services include DfX, Industrialisation, Prototyping, Clean Room Assembly, PCB Assembly (Surface Mount, Through Hole, Wave and, Selective Soldering), Box Build Assembly, Plastic Injection Moulding, and Test Solutions (Environmental / Flying Probe / ICT / Functional / High Voltage).Their success is based on their commitment to Customer Satisfaction and Continuous Improvement with uncompromising Business Ethics. The General Manager will lead the management team and all functions within the manufacturing sites.The site management teams include Operations, Production, Equipment & Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, Materials, Supply chain, IT, HR, Finance, and Facility EHS.A key task will be driving operational and manufacturing efficiency initiatives as wellAs overseeing digital transformation initiative across all functions.The General Manager will have full P+L responsibility and will report directly to the COO located at the company Head Quarters.Key Responsibilities

• Operational Leadership: Oversee day-to-day operations across manufacturing and facilities to ensure smooth and efficient processes, identify and mitigate operational risks.
• Production Management: Drive production while maintaining strict quality standards.
• Technology & Automation: Lead initiatives for advanced manufacturing technologies, automation, and digital transformation.
• Process Optimization: Implement Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies to enhance productivity.
• Customer Satisfaction: ensuring fulfillment of quality standards and customer specifications.
• Budget & Cost Control: Develop and manage operational budgets, monitor KPIs, and drive cost-efficiency.
