Abu Alnaga Development offers a professional environment for individuals who value reliability, craftsmanship, and a client-centered mindset.Role Description The General Manager Engineer (PMO) is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, responsible for overseeing the project management office and ensuring successful delivery of real estate development projects. Day-to-day tasks include leading project planning, scheduling, and execution, coordinating with engineering, construction, and design teams, and monitoring project progress against scope, budget, and timelines. The role involves establishing project governance frameworks, standardizing processes, and implementing best practices in project management and engineering. The General Manager Engineer (PMO) will review technical documents and designs, manage risk assessments, and ensure compliance with local regulations and quality standards. The position also requires close collaboration with senior leadership to align projects with strategic objectives, prepare regular performance reports, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the portfolio.Qualifications Strong project management and PMO leadership skills, including experience in planning, scheduling, governance, and portfolio oversight.Solid engineering background in construction or real estate development, with the ability to review technical designs, drawings, and specifications.Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent), as well as experience with construction-related software.Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation while maintaining high quality and safety standards.Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills, with experience coordinating cross-functional and on-site teams.Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including risk assessment, issue resolution, and decision-making under time constraints.Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certifications are an advantage.Prior experience in real estate development, preferably in the Dubai or GCC market, with knowledge of local building codes and regulations.Ability to work on-site full time in Dubai, demonstrating leadership, integrity, and a commitment to delivering high-quality projects.
