General Manager – Facilities Management

Build sustainable growthAli & Sons is looking for an accomplished General Manager – Facilities Management to provide strategic leadership and overall management of its facilities Management business.This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced FM executive who can combine commercial acumen, operational excellence, client leadership and business growth to build a high-performing and sustainable FM organization.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the overall strategic direction, P&L and business performance of the FM company.Oversee integrated Hard FM and Soft FM operations across multiple contracts and locations.Drive operational excellence, service quality, productivity and profitability.Lead major contract mobilizations, renewals, variations and commercial negotiations.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, developers, consultants, government entities and strategic stakeholders.Drive business development, tenders, contract growth, cross-selling and new business opportunities.Ensure strong performance against SLAs, KPIs, contractual obligations, HSE and regulatory requirements.Strengthen asset management, CAFM/CMMS utilization, preventive maintenance and digital FM capabilities.Lead senior management teams, succession planning, talent development and a high-performance culture.Drive continuous improvement, sustainability, smart FM and operational transformation initiatives.What We're Looking For15+ years of relevant Facilities Management experience, including significant senior leadership responsibility.Proven experience leading large-scale, integrated Hard & Soft FM operations.Strong track record of P&L ownership, budgeting, forecasting, cost control and profitability improvement.Demonstrated experience managing multiple complex FM contracts and client portfolios.Strong commercial and business development experience, including tenders, contract renewals and negotiations.Excellent understanding of UAE FM regulations, Civil Defence, HSE and statutory requirements.Strong experience engaging with senior clients, developers, consultants and government stakeholders.Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Business Administration or a related discipline; Master's degree is preferred.CFM, FMP, IWFM, IFMA, PMP or equivalent certifications are an advantage.If you are a commercially driven FM leader ready to take ownership of a business, shape its strategy and deliver sustainable growth, we would like to hear from you.
