Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced General Manager – Factory to oversee the overall operations of a plastic manufacturing facility specializing in disposable products, including cups, plates, containers, forks, spoons, and related products.The successful candidate will be responsible for driving operational performance, production efficiency, product quality, cost management, and continuous improvement across the facility.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and oversee the overall factory operations and manufacturing activities.Develop and implement operational plans aligned with business objectives.Monitor production performance, productivity, capacity utilization, and operational efficiency.Ensure effective coordination between Production, Maintenance, Quality, Warehouse, Supply Chain, and other relevant functions.Optimize manufacturing processes to improve productivity and reduce waste and operational costs.Ensure consistent product quality and compliance with applicable standards and customer requirements.Monitor production resources, raw materials, inventory, and operational expenses.Establish and monitor operational KPIs and performance targets.Analyze operational results and implement corrective and improvement actions where required.Lead continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.Develop and manage high-performing operational teams.Ensure compliance with company policies, quality requirements, and applicable health and safety standards.Collaborate with Finance, Sales, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams to support overall business performance.Provide regular reports and recommendations to senior management regarding factory performance and improvement opportunities.Requirements15+ years of professional experience in manufacturing operations.Strong professional experience in the plastic manufacturing industry.Experience with disposable plastic products, such as cups, plates, containers, forks, spoons, and related products.Previous experience in a senior factory, plant, or manufacturing operations leadership role.Strong knowledge of production management, manufacturing processes, quality, maintenance, and cost control.Proven experience in improving productivity, operational efficiency, and manufacturing performance.Strong leadership, planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple manufacturing functions and operational priorities.
