General Manager - Food & FMCG

Our client is a growing Organic Food, FMCG, and Retail Distribution company based in Dubai, seeking a General Manager – Food & FMCG to lead and grow its Dubai operations.The role will have end-to-end responsibility for business strategy, sales, retail & distribution, operations, supply chain, marketing, team leadership, and P&L, with a strong focus on expanding the brand across Dubai.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute Dubai market entry and growth strategies.Drive sales through retail, wholesale, B2B, hospitality, and e-commerce channels.Manage import, logistics, warehousing, distribution, and regulatory compliance.Build and maintain relationships with retailers, distributors, and key stakeholders.Lead marketing, brand positioning, and promotional activities.Recruit and manage teams across sales, operations, and marketing.Manage budgets, forecasts, P&L, and overall business performance.Key RequirementsBachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field.8–12 years of experience in FMCG, food, organic products, or related industries.Strong Dubai retail, distribution, and business development experience.Proven experience in launching or scaling brands in the Dubai/GCC.Knowledge of Dubai food regulations, import/export, and Dubai Municipality requirements.Strong leadership, negotiation, commercial, and stakeholder management skills.Entrepreneurial and hands-on approach with strong ownership.
