General Manager (Frieght Forwarding)

Role:A growing international logistics business is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead its US operation and drive continued growth.The role will have overall responsibility for operations, commercial performance, profitability, customers and people, working closely with senior leadership to develop the business.Key ResponsibilitiesLead day-to-day operations and team performance.Drive revenue, profitability and business growth.Develop key customer and supplier relationships.Identify and convert new business opportunities.Oversee air, ocean and domestic freight operations.Implement effective KPIs, processes and controls.Recruit, develop and motivate the team.Ensure high standards of customer service and compliance.Candidate Profile5+ years' experience in freight forwarding, logistics or 3PL.Proven senior management experience.Strong commercial and operational track record.Experience across air, ocean and/or domestic freight.Excellent customer, leadership and business-development skills.Hands-on, entrepreneurial approach suited to a growing SME.
