General Manager – Interior Fit-Out

Job PurposeThe General Manager (GM) is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring the successful delivery of projects while driving operational excellence, financial discipline, business growth, and client satisfaction.The GM will oversee all aspects of the business, including project delivery, engineering, procurement, commercial management, finance, and business development, while supporting the company’s long-term strategic vision.The primary objective of the role is to strengthen the company’s position as a trusted Saudi interior fit-out contractor specializing in fitness, healthcare, commercial, hospitality, retail, and workplace projects.ResponsibilitiesLead the overall operations of the company and execute the annual business plan.Drive sustainable revenue, profitability, and overall business growth.Identify new business opportunities and develop strong relationships with clients, consultants, developers, suppliers, and subcontractors.Generate new business and expand the company’s external project portfolio.Lead tender submissions and commercial negotiations.Oversee project management, engineering, design coordination, procurement, and contracts administration.Oversee construction management, planning and scheduling, cost control, commercial management, quality assurance, and HSE.Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.Manage the annual operating budget, cash flow, financial planning, resource allocation, and project profitability.Develop qualified suppliers and subcontractors and negotiate competitive commercial agreements.Improve procurement efficiency and ensure the timely procurement of materials and equipment.Build, lead, develop, and retain a high-performing team.Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal and regulatory requirements.Monitor company KPIs and provide regular operational and financial reports to senior management.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related discipline.10–15 years of experience in Interior Fit-Out or Construction.Minimum of 5 years in a senior management position such as General Manager, Operations Manager, Projects Director, or Business Unit Head.Strong experience in commercial interior fit-out projects.Proven experience in project delivery, procurement, commercial management, and business development.Strong knowledge of interior fit-out, construction management, MEP coordination, procurement, contracts administration, cost control, project scheduling, commercial management, risk management, quality management, and value engineering.MBA is an advantage.PMP, CCM, RICS, or Lean Construction certification is preferred.Fluent in Arabic and English.
