Employment visa, Medical Insurance, Annual Flight Tickets, Annual leavesExperience: 15 years or more of experience in a senior leadership positionJob Overview:One of client is looking for an experienced General Manager - Management who will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and driving the organization's long-term profitability, sustainable growth, and operational excellence.The role will lead the development and execution of short-, medium-, and long-term business strategies, oversee organizational performance, strengthen stakeholder relationships, and ensure effective governance across the business.Serve as a chief spokesperson for ASC, assuring the proper representation of the company to its internal/external stakeholders in order to enhance the image of the company. Responsible for the long-term profitability and sustainable growth of ASC.
Key Responsibilities
Ensures the development of an overall strategic plan to support ASC’s mission, objectives, and growth as an organization.Overview and evaluate the business strategy planning process and provide direction and leadership to the functional managers to set and achieve the short, medium, and long-term plans. Monitor and ensure timely implementation of the strategic plans to contribute to the effectiveness and promotion of ASC.Establish relevant performance targets in coordination with the GMD, ensuring that they are realistic and support the overall strategic/operational objectives of ASC.Provide strategic direction and leadership for ASC’s public relations activities to ensure that all the internal and external (local and global) stakeholder concerns/requirements are addressed through relevant and using appropriate communication channels.Represents the organization and fosters effective working relationships at the highest level with Government and other key bodies within the UAE to develop strategic business alliances.Oversees the financial management activities of the company, including budgeting and management reporting by all concerned. Responsible for the long-term profitability and growth of ASC.Review the delegation of authority matrix in consultation with the GMD and ensure that appropriate accountability for key management positions is well defined for all operational functions and activities.Monitor compliance of the company’s policies through the internal audit function with all relevant laws and regulations to ensure ASC transparency in all its internal/external dealings.Review and approve recommendations on the company’s policies and procedures in consultation with GMD to facilitate smooth operations across the organization.Assure a fair work environment fostering growth of employees at all levels.Manage and monitor the performance of direct reports and provide guidance as and when required
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering; a Master’s degree is preferred.A PMP certification is an added value.15 years or more of experience in a senior leadership position.Demonstrate exceptional capability in leading and managing complex projects.Able to work and communicate effectively with all levels of co-workers, superiors/managers, clients, and other external contacts;Strong interpersonal, communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent organizational skills with demonstrated ability to execute projects on time and on budget.Has outstanding skills in project management, process improvement, budget tracking, expense tracking, planning, and performance managementPossesses excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is an additional skill.
