Job Description

The General Manager is responsible for the operational, financial, and customer-facing performance of a high-volume manufacturing facility. Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, this leader will oversee facility operations, manage key customer relationships, deliver executive-level presentations, and lead strategic projects.The ideal candidate combines manufacturing leadership, financial acumen, project-management experience, and strong executive presence.Key Responsibilities

• Lead facility operations, including production, quality, safety, maintenance, logistics, and workforce performance.
• Serve as the primary senior-level contact for key customers and executive stakeholders.
• Prepare and deliver C-suite presentations, business reviews, and operational and financial performance updates.
• Manage P&L performance, budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial reporting.
• Lead customer and operational projects, managing timelines, risks, priorities, and deliverables.
• Monitor KPIs and improve safety, quality, service, productivity, and profitability.
• Develop facility leadership and promote accountability and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with applicable safety, quality, transportation, and industry regulations.Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Five or more years of senior leadership experience in manufacturing or high-volume production.
• Demonstrated success managing operations, financial performance, customer relationships, and teams.
• Experience presenting to C-suite executives and senior customer stakeholders.
• Strong project-management, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven executive presence and ability to build credibility across all organizational levels.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, presentation software, and business reporting systems.Physical Requirements: The physical requirements for this office role include the ability to sit or stand for extended periods, typically up to 8 hours a day, and regularly operate standard office equipment such as computers and phones. Employees should be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally and frequently perform tasks that require typing, writing, and document handling.
