Joining AIC offers exposure to diverse projects and a client-focused environment where technical excellence and safe execution are prioritized.Role Description The General Manager is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Saudi Arabia, responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations across multiple construction and contracting projects. This role manages project planning, resource allocation, budgeting, and performance tracking to ensure work is delivered on time, within scope, and to quality and safety standards. The General Manager provides strategic direction, leads and mentors project and site teams, and coordinates with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to maintain strong relationships and resolve issues promptly. The role includes monitoring financial performance, supporting business development activities, enhancing operational processes, and ensuring compliance with local regulations, company policies, and health and safety requirements.Qualifications Demonstrated leadership and people management skills, including team supervision, performance coaching, and cross-functional collaboration.Strong project management capabilities covering planning, scheduling, resource management, and risk mitigation in construction or contracting environments.Solid financial and commercial acumen, including budgeting, cost control, contract administration, and basic knowledge of procurement practices.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills for engaging clients, consultants, suppliers, and internal teams.Understanding of construction methodologies, building services, and MEP works, with a focus on quality assurance and site safety standards.Ability to analyze operational data, identify improvement opportunities, and implement practical process enhancements.Proficiency in common business and project management software (e.g., MS Office suite, scheduling tools); familiarity with construction management systems is an advantage.Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced qualifications are a plus.Relevant experience in a senior management or general management role within construction, contracting, or a related sector in the region.Working knowledge of local regulations and standards applicable to construction and contracting in Saudi Arabia; Arabic language skills are beneficial.
