At Viviana Shipping, we keep your fleet moving with confidence and precision.Role Description The General Manager – Ship Management & Operations will oversee the end-to-end management of maritime assets , ensuring efficient operations and regulatory compliance. This full-time, on-site role in Dubai includes supervising ship management activities, coordinating maintenance schedules, monitoring operational performance, and managing vendor and service provider relationships. The General Manager will develop and implement operational policies, optimize budgets, and ensure adherence to safety and environmental standards. The role also involves leading cross-functional teams, preparing operational reports, supporting strategic investment decisions, and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships with owners, tenants, and partners. In addition, the General Manager will contribute to business development initiatives, process improvements, and risk management within the maritime and property portfolio.QualificationsStrong ship management and operations experience, including fleet oversight, maintenance planning, and compliance with maritime regulations.Proficiency in operational planning and process optimization, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and cost control.Demonstrated leadership skills in managing diverse teams, coordinating contractors, and driving performance in a fast-paced environment.Experience in real estate or property-related operations, particularly in asset management, tenant coordination, or facilities management, is advantageous.Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders, clients, and partners.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including experience with reporting, budgeting, and data-driven decision-making.Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced qualifications or professional certifications in ship management or property management are a plus.Familiarity with Dubai regulatory and commercial environment, and the ability to work on-site with flexibility and professionalism.
