General Manager - Store Management

Black & Grey HR is partnering with a leading Tier-1 contracting company in the UAE to recruit an experienced General Manager - Store Management to lead and oversee all warehouse and store operations for a premier construction organization. The ideal candidate will bring over 20 years of expertise in construction materials inventory management, logistics, warehousing, and supply chain operations, supported by a proven track record of leading large, multi-location teams.Key ResponsibilitiesDirect end-to-end store and warehouse operations across project sites and central warehouses.Design and implement robust inventory control strategies to ensure optimal stock availability and accuracy.Oversee the full cycle of receiving, storage, issuance, and distribution of construction materials, tools, equipment, and consumables.Ensure strict adherence to company policies, health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards, and internal audit requirements.Collaborate closely with Procurement, Project Management, Finance, and Logistics teams to facilitate efficient material flow.Champion process improvements, digitalization initiatives, and industry best practices in store management.Lead, mentor, and develop store management personnel to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.Prepare budgets, forecasts, and comprehensive management reports for senior leadership review.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.Minimum of 20 years of progressive experience in store management, warehousing, or supply chain operations within the construction sector.At least 8–10 years in a senior leadership capacity, with demonstrated responsibility for managing large teams and multiple geographically dispersed locations.Exceptional leadership, stakeholder engagement, and strategic decision-making capabilities.Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.BenefitsAn attractive remuneration package, inclusive of benefits, commensurate with market standards.A career opportunity with a leading Tier 1 construction contractor based in the UAE.Preference will be extended to candidates available for immediate joining.
