As they continue to scale operations, they are seeking a dynamic, strategic, and sales-oriented General Manager to oversee the business and drive commercial growth.Position OverviewThe General Manager will have total P&L responsibility. You will oversee daily operations, build strategic supplier partnerships, expand market footprint, and lead sales and operations teams. This role requires an absolute specialist with a proven track record exclusively within the tiles and surfaces sector in the UAE.Core ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership: Develop and execute commercial strategies to increase market share, revenue, and profitability specifically for the tiles trading business.P&L Management: Oversee the complete financial health of the business unit, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and margin optimization.Supply Chain & Procurement: Leverage international and local networks to source high-quality tile products, negotiate terms with global manufacturers, and manage inventory levels efficiently.Sales & Business Development: Drive B2B, project specification, and channel sales. Maintain and grow relationships with key developers, consultants, interior designers, and contractors in the UAE.Operational Excellence: Supervise daily warehouse, logistics, showroom, and administrative operations to ensure seamless order fulfilment and customer satisfaction.Team Management: Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing team of sales and operational staff.Strict Candidate RequirementsIndustry Expertise: Must possess extensive and purely tiles experience. Candidates from general building materials or unrelated sectors will not be considered.Regional Experience: Minimum 8–10 years of senior management experience within the UAE market is mandatory. Deep knowledge of the local construction and trading ecosystem is required.Mobility: Must possess a valid UAE Driving License.Skills & CompetenciesExceptional negotiation, contract management, and commercial arithmetic skills.Strong leadership qualities with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
