With a patient-centered approach and emphasis on natural-looking results, the clinic serves patients from Fujairah and across the UAE.Role Description This full-time, on-site General Practitioner – Aesthetic role is based at Dr. Shankar's Medical Center And Plastic Surgery LLC SPC in Fujairah, UAE. The General Practitioner will provide primary medical assessment, consultation, and follow-up care for aesthetic and plastic surgery patients, ensuring safe, evidence-based practice. Day-to-day responsibilities include taking detailed medical histories, performing physical examinations, evaluating patient suitability for aesthetic and plastic surgery procedures, and coordinating care with the plastic surgery and nursing teams. The role involves delivering non-surgical aesthetic treatments as delegated and credentialed, counseling patients on treatment options, risks, and aftercare, and monitoring post-procedure recovery. The General Practitioner will also contribute to clinical documentation, uphold infection control and patient safety standards, and participate in ongoing training and quality improvement activities.Qualifications Clinical background in Medicine and Primary Care, with proven ability to manage general health assessments and pre- and post-procedure patient care.Experience or training in Family Medicine, with strong skills in holistic patient evaluation and continuity of care.Ability to collaborate effectively with Nursing staff to support safe delivery of aesthetic and plastic surgery services.Commitment to continuous Training and professional development in aesthetic medicine and related clinical protocols.Recognized medical degree and valid license/eligibility to practice as a General Practitioner in the UAE.Knowledge of or strong interest in aesthetic medicine, minimally invasive procedures, and post-surgical care.Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain procedures, risks, and aftercare clearly and respectfully to diverse patient populations.Strong ethical standards, attention to detail, and a patient-centered approach focused on safety and natural-looking outcomes.
