Responsibilities include conducting patient consultations, performing physical examinations, diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions, and coordinating follow-up care. The role involves prescribing medications, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and maintaining accurate and timely medical records. The General Practitioner will collaborate with nursing staff, specialists, and other healthcare professionals, participate in clinical audits, and contribute to training and mentoring of junior medical staff and students. The practitioner is expected to follow hospital policies, clinical guidelines, and patient safety protocols while delivering person-centered care.Qualifications Strong clinical skills in Medicine and Primary Care, with the ability to manage a wide range of conditions in a general practice setting.Experience or training in Family Medicine, including continuity of care, preventive care, and management of chronic diseases.Ability to collaborate effectively with Nursing professionals and other members of the multidisciplinary team.Experience in Training, teaching, or mentoring medical students or junior clinicians in a clinical environment.Recognized medical degree and valid license or eligibility for licensure to practice as a General Practitioner.Up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based guidelines, patient safety standards, and clinical governance practices.Strong communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills, with commitment to ethical and culturally sensitive care.Willingness to participate in continuous professional development and hospital quality improvement initiatives.
