Singapore Medical Center (Cambodia) emphasizes continuous improvement, professional development, and a patient-centered approach to healthcare.Role Description The General Practitioner will provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages, including medical history taking, physical examinations, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic conditions. Day-to-day responsibilities include prescribing treatments and medications, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, maintaining accurate and timely medical records, and coordinating referrals to specialists when needed. The role also involves counseling patients on preventive care, health education, and lifestyle modification, while adhering to clinical guidelines and safety standards. The General Practitioner will collaborate with nurses and other healthcare staff, participate in internal training activities, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives. This is a full-time, on-site role based at Singapore Medical Center (Cambodia) in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.QualificationsClinical expertise in Medicine and Primary Care, with the ability to manage a broad range of acute and chronic conditions.Experience or training in Family Medicine, with a strong focus on continuity of care for individuals and families.Ability to collaborate effectively with Nursing staff and other healthcare professionals in a multidisciplinary setting.Experience in Training or willingness to participate in and deliver clinical education and continuous professional development.Recognized medical degree and valid license to practice as a General Practitioner; eligibility to register with relevant Cambodian authorities.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered, culturally sensitive approach.Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment, prioritize tasks, and maintain high standards of documentation and infection control.Proficiency in English or and Mandarin Chinese is required; other regional languages is an advantage.Previous experience in outpatient or clinic-based settings is preferred.
