This on-site Salaried General Practitioner role is based at Trent Meadows Medical Practice in Burton upon Trent. The General Practitioner will provide primary care consultations, including assessment, diagnosis, and management of a wide range of acute and chronic conditions. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting face-to-face appointments, reviewing test results, prescribing medications, and coordinating care with nursing and allied health professionals. The role also involves providing preventive care, health education, and managing referrals to specialist services when needed. The General Practitioner will contribute to clinical meetings, participate in practice audits or quality improvement activities, and support the training and mentoring of other clinical staff where appropriate.Qualifications Strong clinical competence in Medicine and Primary Care, with the ability to manage acute and chronic health conditions.Ability to collaborate effectively with Nursing and other multidisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated patient care.Commitment to ongoing Training and professional development, including keeping up to date with clinical guidelines and best practices.Relevant medical degree and full registration with the appropriate medical regulatory body GMC with license to practice.Demonstrated skills in patient communication, shared decision-making, and culturally sensitive care.Experience in UK primary care or similar settings, including familiarity with electronic medical records and local healthcare pathways.Ability to work safely and efficiently in an on-site clinical environment, adhering to all governance, safeguarding, and infection control standards.
