Applicants will join a practice that combines surgical precision with an artistic approach to aesthetics.Role Description The General Surgeon will provide comprehensive surgical care to patients, including evaluation, diagnosis, and management of a broad spectrum of surgical conditions, with a strong focus on aesthetic and reconstructive procedures. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting outpatient consultations, reviewing medical histories, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, planning surgical interventions, and performing surgeries in coordination with the clinical team. The role also involves pre- and post-operative patient counseling, documenting care in medical records, collaborating with anesthesiologists and other specialists, and participating in quality and safety initiatives. This is a full-time, on-site role based at Elegance Clinic in Surat, requiring regular availability for operating room schedules, emergency surgical care as needed, and adherence to the clinic’s protocols and ethical standards.Qualifications Strong foundation in Medicine and general Surgery, with the ability to manage common surgical conditions safely and independently.Competence or experience in Plastic Surgery and aesthetic procedures, ideally with exposure to cosmetic, reconstructive, or body-contouring surgeries.Familiarity with Orthopedic Surgery and musculoskeletal principles, supporting comprehensive assessment of trauma or structural issues when needed.Basic understanding of Ophthalmology and periocular anatomy relevant to facial aesthetic procedures and safe surgical practice.Recognized medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and completed surgical residency (MS in General Surgery or equivalent), with valid medical registration/licensure.Proven experience in an operating room setting, with strong technical skills, sterile technique, and compliance with safety and infection control guidelines.Excellent clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to provide empathetic, confidential, and culturally sensitive patient care.Willingness to work on-site in Surat, contribute to a multidisciplinary aesthetic practice, and continuously update skills through professional development.
