Generative AI Engineer

About the Role:For a multinational client in Amsterdam, we are looking for an interim AI Engineer. You will be responsible for the development and production of Machine Learning models for GenAI applications.Responsibilities:Build and scale ML pipelines for GenAI applications;Deploy and manage LLMs and agent-based systems in production environments;Improve and optimize existing AI infrastructure for reliability and scale;Translate GenAI use cases into production-ready solutions;Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and data teams;Contribute hands-on to development, experimentation, and deployment.Requirements:At least a year experience in Generative AI;Strong domain knowledge of GenAI and LLM ecosystems;Proven experience putting models into production and scaling them;Hands-on ML engineering background (pipelines, deployment, monitoring);Experience with LLM orchestration tools (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph);Familiarity working with models such as ChatGPT and Gemini (nice to have);Strong communication skills and track record of collaboration.What We Offer:A freelance/payroll positionFlexible Working: Hybrid model, with 2–3 days in the office in Amsterdam (non-negotiable)
