Senior / Lead Applied AI Engineer – Generative & Agentic AILocation: UAE / Saudi ArabiaFocus: Generative AI & Agentic AIWe’re looking for a Senior Applied AI Engineer to design and build production-grade AI applications using Generative AI and Large Language Models.This is a hands-on engineering position for someone who has already taken AI solutions beyond proof-of-concept and successfully deployed them into real production environments.The RoleYou’ll work on the design and delivery of advanced Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions, taking ideas from initial use case and architecture through to production deployment.The focus will be on building scalable, secure and reliable AI applications that integrate with complex enterprise environments.You’ll be involved across areas including:Designing and building production-grade LLM applicationsDeveloping Agentic AI and multi-agent systemsBuilding advanced RAG architecturesLLM orchestration, tool calling and workflow automationIntegrating AI solutions with enterprise applications, APIs and data platformsModel selection, evaluation and optimisationBuilding AI services and APIs using PythonDeploying AI workloads across cloud and Kubernetes environmentsImplementing LLMOps / MLOps practicesAI observability, monitoring, evaluation and guardrailsImproving scalability, latency, reliability and costWorking closely with engineering, product, data and business teams to move AI initiatives from PoC into productionWhat You’ll Be DoingDesign and build Generative AI and Agentic AI applicationsDevelop production RAG and LLM-based systemsBuild AI services and integrations using PythonDesign agentic workflows including tool calling and multi-step reasoningDeploy and scale AI applications within cloud environmentsTake ownership of solutions from initial architecture through to production deploymentWhat We’re Looking ForStrong Python software engineering experienceHands-on experience building applications using LLMs / Generative AIExperience developing Agentic AI systems and workflowsStrong understanding of RAG, embeddings and vector searchExperience deploying AI applications into AWS, Azure or GCPProven experience taking AI solutions from PoC through to productionExperience with frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex or similar would be beneficial, but we're more interested in what you've actually built than which framework you've used.The Ideal BackgroundYou’ll likely already be working as a Senior AI Engineer, Applied AI Engineer, Generative AI Engineer or Senior Machine Learning Engineer.Most importantly, you'll be able to demonstrate real examples of AI applications you've personally helped design, build and deploy into production.
