Generative AI Engineering Intern:Location: Hybrid / RemoteEmployment Type: InternshipExperience: College Students / FreshersAbout the RoleWe are looking for enthusiastic and technically curious AI Engineering Interns to join our team and work on an AI-powered omnichannel communication platform that enables businesses to deploy intelligent agents across voice calls, WhatsApp, web chat, and other communication channels.This is a hands-on internship designed for students who want to gain practical exposure to Generative AI, Voice AI, Conversational AI, LLMs, backend engineering, APIs, and agentic systems**. Interns will work closely with the engineering team and contribute to features and workflows that have the potential to be deployed in a production environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAs an AI Engineering Intern, you will contribute to the development and improvement of AI-powered voice and conversational agents. You will work with Large Language Models, prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), tool calling, conversational workflows, and AI agent architectures.You will also gain hands-on experience integrating voice technologies such as Speech-to-Text (STT), Text-to-Speech (TTS), SIP, and telephony APIs, along with communication channels such as WhatsApp, web chat, and voice.The role will involve developing and consuming REST and real-time APIs, working with backend services, databases, event-driven systems, and agent platforms, while also debugging, testing, and optimizing AI conversations and workflows.You will have the opportunity to experiment with emerging AI models, frameworks, and APIs and contribute to real customer use cases and production-oriented systems.Technologies & ToolsDepending on your area of interest and project requirements, you may work with Python, Go, Node.js, LLMs, Generative AI APIs, OpenAI, Gemini, Speech-to-Text and Text-to-Speech systems, WebSockets, WebRTC, SIP, REST APIs, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Docker, AWS, WhatsApp Business APIs, and telephony platforms.You are not expected to have experience with all of these technologies. Strong programming fundamentals, problem-solving ability, and a willingness to learn are more important. Required QualificationsWe are looking for students currently pursuing B.Tech, B.E., MCA, or an equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related discipline.Candidates should have a good understanding of programming fundamentals and be comfortable working with at least one programming language such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, C++, or Go. A basic understanding of APIs, databases, and Git, along with strong debugging and problem-solving skills, is expected.An interest in AI, LLMs, conversational systems, and emerging technologies, combined with the ability to learn independently and collaborate effectively, will be highly valued.Good to HavePrior experience building projects using LLMs, Generative AI, OpenAI/Gemini or other AI APIs will be an advantage.
