GenTax Programmer | Location: Off-Site | Contract | Hourly Pay Range $55-$65Join a team seeking an experienced FAST GenTax Programmer to configure and enhance the STARS application. In this role, you’ll support the full software development lifecycle—analyzing requirements, delivering system enhancements, and resolving production issues—while adhering to FAST GenTax functional and technical standards.Key ResponsibilitiesConfigure, enhance, and support the STARS applicationAnalyze requirements and translate them into system designs, technical solutions, and implementation plansDevelop, test, and document system enhancements and production fixes using GenTax programming standardsImplement SQR change requests within the FAST GenTax systemTrack, manage, and promote changes through the FAST Central Repository (FCR)Participate in structured code reviews and technical walkthroughs to ensure quality and standards alignmentCoordinate development activities with other software developers across the SDLCWork independently with minimal supervision to deliver enhancements and resolve issues efficientlySupport improvements to the efficiency and accuracy of tax-processing operationsRequired QualificationsFive or more years of programming experienceAt least two years of experience with one or more FAST Enterprises technology systems, including GenTax, FAST DS-VS, FAST UI-PL, or FAST CSEHands-on experience with C#, PostgreSQL, and Visual StudioExperience delivering application enhancements and resolving production issuesStrong analytical, testing, documentation, and collaboration skillsMust not have worked directly for FAST Enterprises within the past six monthsAbout Delphi-US - Peacemakers In The Talent WarDelphi-US is a national IT Services firm based in Newport, Rhode Island.
