Geotechnical Engineering Manager / Ground Engineering Director

Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineering Manager / Ground Engineering Director to lead geotechnical engineering, ground investigations, technical assessments, and project delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesLead geotechnical engineering and ground investigation activities from planning through project delivery.Manage soil investigations, site characterization, foundation assessments, slope stability, and ground improvement.Review geotechnical reports, calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical submissions.Coordinate with civil, structural, architectural, and multidisciplinary project teams.Assess geotechnical risks, ground conditions, settlement, stability, and construction challenges.Provide technical solutions for foundations, retaining structures, excavation, earthworks, and ground improvement.Monitor site investigations, testing, construction activities, and geotechnical performance.Ensure works comply with applicable codes, standards, safety, and project requirements.Lead and develop geotechnical engineers, specialists, and technical teams.RequirementsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience in geotechnical engineering, ground investigation, or engineering consultancy.Experience with foundations, deep excavation, retaining systems, slopes, earthworks, or ground improvement.Strong knowledge of soil mechanics, geotechnical analysis, testing, and construction methods.Proficiency in relevant geotechnical analysis and engineering software.Strong leadership, technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Experience managing consultants, contractors, laboratories, and multidisciplinary teams.Professional Engineer / Chartered Engineer or equivalent certification is an advantage.
