This role involves evaluating ground conditions, guiding engineering assessments, managing technical deliverables, and supporting safe and cost-effective design solutions.The ideal candidate brings strong geotechnical knowledge, sound engineering judgment, and the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams while balancing technical quality, project requirements, and commercial considerations.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and oversee geotechnical engineering activities across assigned projects.Review ground investigation reports, site data, soil profiles, and geological assessments.Guide geotechnical analysis, foundation design, slope stability, and ground improvement solutions.Evaluate excavation support, retaining structures, settlement, and soil-bearing capacity.Review technical calculations, design drawings, specifications, and engineering reports.Establish technical standards, quality procedures, and engineering review processes.Identify geotechnical risks and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.Coordinate with structural, civil, environmental, and construction teams.Provide technical guidance on foundation systems, earthworks, and subsurface conditions.Monitor project deliverables, engineering schedules, budgets, and resource requirements.Support design reviews, technical meetings, and project risk assessments.Ensure engineering work aligns with applicable codes, standards, and safety requirements.Review contractor and consultant submissions and provide technical recommendations.Prepare management reports and communicate technical findings to stakeholders.Promote engineering innovation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.Requirements3+ years of professional experience in geotechnical engineering, ground engineering, or a related discipline preferred.Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, or a related field preferred.Strong understanding of soil mechanics, foundation engineering, ground investigation, and geotechnical design principles.Experience reviewing technical reports, engineering calculations, drawings, and project specifications.Familiarity with geotechnical analysis tools and relevant engineering standards.Strong technical judgment, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.Excellent project coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Ability to manage multiple technical priorities and work independently.Comfortable collaborating with international multidisciplinary teams in a remote environment.Professional certifications are not required unless specifically relevant to the role.What We OfferFlexible part-time, fully remote working arrangement.Competitive compensation based on experience and responsibilities.Opportunity to contribute to international infrastructure and engineering projects.Exposure to complex ground engineering challenges and multidisciplinary collaboration.Flexible coordination with global engineering professionals.Professional development and opportunities to expand technical leadership experience.A collaborative environment focused on engineering quality, safety, innovation, and sustainable project delivery.
