Geriatric Medicine - Consultant / Specialist

We are sourcing for a Geriatric Physician to provide comprehensive, compassionate care for older adults. Keen to review suitable candidates for potential part time/ visiting CBD engagement.Key responsibilities:Assess and manage older adults with complex medical conditions, frailty and multiple medications.Develop individualised care plans that support patients’ health, independence and quality of life.Coordinate care with patients, families and multidisciplinary teams, including rehabilitation and allied health services.Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to patient safety and quality improvement.Qualifications & ExperienceMedical degree and a recognised qualification in Geriatric Medicine, with recognised Geriatric Medicine subspecialty trainingValid DHA licence or DHA registration/eligibility for the applicable Specialist or Consultant title.Relevant post qualification clinical experience of 7-10 years desired.Demonstrated experience in comprehensive geriatric assessment and the management of complex needs in older adults.
