Geriatrician

A leading healthcare organization in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced and compassionate Consultant Geriatrician to join its multidisciplinary team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated physician who is passionate about providing comprehensive care to older adults and contributing to the development of specialized geriatric services.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide expert assessment, diagnosis, and management of elderly patients with acute and chronic medical conditions.Develop comprehensive care plans addressing the physical, psychological, and social needs of geriatric patients.Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated patient-centered care.Lead and participate in family discussions, care planning, and patient education initiatives.Support quality improvement programs and clinical governance activities.Contribute to the advancement and growth of geriatric medicine services within the organization.Supervise and mentor junior medical staff as appropriate.Qualifications & ExperienceMedical Degree from an accredited institution.Board Certification/CCT, American Board, Canadian Board, Australian Fellowship, Arab Board, or equivalent recognized qualification in Geriatric Medicine.Eligibility for DOH Consultant licensure in Abu Dhabi.Minimum of 5 years' experience practicing as a Consultant Geriatrician.Demonstrated expertise in managing complex geriatric cases.Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.Commitment to providing high-quality patient-centered care.
