German Language Instructor

Job Title: Part-Time German Language InstructorLocation: Abu Dhabi, UAEEmployment Type: Part-Time / Contract-BasedWe are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic German Language Instructor to deliver engaging, practical, and learner-focused German language classes at our training centre in Abu Dhabi.The instructor will be responsible for teaching German language courses to adult learners at different proficiency levels, with a focus on developing speaking, listening, reading, writing, pronunciation, grammar, and practical communication skills.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver interactive German language classes during evening hoursTeach learners across different proficiency levels, including beginner and intermediate levelsPrepare lesson plans, presentations, exercises, assessments, and learning materialsDevelop learners’ speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation skillsUse practical activities, conversations, role plays, and real-life situations to improve communicationMonitor learner progress and provide constructive feedbackConduct quizzes, assignments, and level-based assessmentsMaintain attendance records and submit required training documentationAdapt teaching methods according to learners’ abilities and learning objectivesCreate a positive, engaging, and supportive classroom environmentRequired Qualifications and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in German Language, Education, Linguistics, Translation, or a related fieldRecognised German language teaching qualification or certification is preferredMinimum of 2 years of experience teaching German to adultsGerman language proficiency at CEFR C1 level or aboveStrong knowledge of CEFR language proficiency levels and assessment methodsExperience preparing learners for Goethe-Zertifikat, telc, ÖSD, or similar examinations is an advantageExcellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skillsAbility to prepare structured and engaging course materialsPrevious teaching experience in the UAE or a corporate training environment is preferred
