German Language TutorMasterminds Early Learning CenterDubai, United Arab EmiratesRole OverviewMasterminds Early Learning Center is seeking a warm, experienced, and engaging German Language Tutor to provide German language instruction to a 6-year-old student.This role is ideal for a passionate language educator who enjoys working closely with young learners and can create personalized, engaging, and age-appropriate German lessons that build confidence, vocabulary, listening, speaking, reading, and early writing skills.The successful tutor will provide individualized instruction based on the student's existing German language level, learning goals, interests, and developmental needs. Lessons should be interactive, encouraging, and varied, using a combination of conversation, games, stories, songs, reading, creative activities, and age-appropriate learning resources.The role requires a tutor who is nurturing, patient, highly engaging, well-organized, and able to establish a positive one-to-one learning relationship while maintaining clear learning objectives and consistent progress.Essential RequirementsMinimum 5 years' experience teaching German to young children, preferably ages 5-10 years. Experience providing one-to-one or small-group language instruction is highly preferredNative or near-native proficiency in spoken GermanStrong understanding of early childhood and primary-age language developmentAbility to assess a child's existing German language ability and adapt lessons accordinglyExperience developing age-appropriate speaking, listening, vocabulary, reading, phonics, and early writing skills in GermanAbility to create engaging, interactive, and personalized learning experiencesStrong relationship-building skills and the ability to motivate and encourage young learnersPatient, warm, energetic, and adaptable teaching styleHighly organized and reliable, with strong lesson-planning and preparation skillsRelevant teaching, language, education, or early childhood qualification preferredCore ResponsibilitiesPlan and deliver personalized German lessons for a student.Assess and continuously monitor the student's German language level, progress, strengths, and areas for developmentDevelop lessons appropriate to the student's age, ability, interests, and learning objectivesBuild the student's confidence in understanding and communicating in GermanDevelop vocabulary, listening comprehension, pronunciation, speaking, reading, and age-appropriate writing skillsUse stories, songs, games, role play, conversation, visual resources, creative activities, and interactive exercises to make lessons engagingIntroduce and reinforce German vocabulary and language structures through meaningful, age-appropriate contextsEncourage the student to communicate naturally in German and gradually increase the use of German during lessonsIncorporate the student's interests into lesson planning to maintain motivation and engagementDifferentiate activities and teaching strategies according to the student's progress and learning needsPrepare appropriate learning materials, worksheets, books, games, and resources for each sessionMaintain a structured yet enjoyable learning environment that encourages curiosity and independenceKeep brief records of lesson content, progress, and areas requiring further practiceCommunicate professionally with parents and/or the school regarding progress, learning objectives, and recommendationsFollow all safeguarding, health, safety, confidentiality, and school policiesWorking ScheduleDays: Monday & WednesdayTime: 11:30 AM – 12:30 PMDuration: 1 hour per sessionStudent: 1 student, aged 6Total: 2 hours per weekCompensation & BenefitsAED 150 – 200 per hourStart DateImmediate
