Dash Language School fosters an inclusive, learner-centered environment where language education supports personal growth, academic success, and career development.Role Description The German Online B1/B2 Tutor is responsible for delivering high-quality German language instruction to learners at intermediate levels, focusing on speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. Day-to-day tasks include planning and conducting online lessons, preparing instructional materials, assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback that supports individual learning goals. The tutor will use digital tools and interactive methods to create engaging lessons, maintain clear communication with learners, and collaborate with the school on curriculum and scheduling needs. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Lagos, with a combination of on-site teaching and work-from-home online instruction, depending on program requirements and class schedules.Qualifications Strong command of German at or above B1 level, with the ability to teach B1 and B2 learners clearly and accurately.Experience teaching German as a foreign language, preferably in online or blended learning environments.Ability to design lesson plans, create teaching materials, and adapt content to diverse learning styles.Confidence using video-conferencing platforms, learning management systems, and other digital teaching tools.Excellent communication skills, patience, and a learner-centered approach that supports different backgrounds and abilities.Bachelor’s degree in German, Linguistics, Education, or a related field; formal teaching certification or training in language instruction is an advantage.Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain professional standards in a hybrid work setting.Willingness to collaborate with colleagues, participate in training, and align teaching with Dash Language School’s vision and curriculum.send your cv to dashlanguageschool@gmail.com
