German Tutor (Goethe & Telc)

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site German Tutor role based at Tiju’s Academy in Thiruvalla. The German Tutor will teach Goethe and Telc exam-oriented courses across different proficiency levels, using structured lesson plans and engaging teaching methods. Responsibilities include conducting interactive classes, preparing teaching materials, guiding students through exam patterns and practice tests, and offering individualized feedback to improve performance. The tutor will track student progress, maintain class records, and collaborate with the academic team to align German language training with the academy’s overall standards. The role also involves supporting learners with study strategies, fostering a positive classroom environment, and participating in internal training or curriculum enhancement activities as needed.QualificationsStrong command of the German language, Goethe and Telc exam formats effectively.Experience in language teaching or tutoring, preferably in exam preparation contexts (Goethe, Telc).Skills in lesson planning, classroom management, and use of interactive teaching methods and learning resources.Ability to assess learner needs, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching styles to diverse learning profiles.Excellent communication skills in English for coordination with staff and to support learners where needed.Formal qualification in German language or education (e.g., degree, teaching certification, or recognized language diploma) is highly beneficial.Commitment to learner success, professional integrity, and working on-site in Thiruvalla as part of a collaborative academic team.Exam Certificate is mandatory .
