GIS AI Expert (GIS & AI/ML)

We are seeking an experienced GIS AI Expert to design and implement AI-driven geospatial solutions using GIS, satellite imagery, and machine learning technologies. The role involves developing geospatial AI models, integrating them with GIS platforms, and delivering actionable insights through maps, dashboards, and automated workflows.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze satellite imagery and geospatial datasets.Develop AI/ML and deep learning models for:Object detection and image classificationLand use/land cover change detectionSpatial prediction and forecastingRoute optimization and location intelligenceHotspot and clustering analysisBuild and automate geospatial data ingestion and processing pipelines.Integrate AI models with GIS platforms and deploy automated workflows.Create interactive dashboards, web maps, and reporting solutions.Ensure data quality, coordinate accuracy, and solution scalability.Provide technical documentation and knowledge transfer to end users.RequirementsMinimum 8 years of GIS experience with strong GeoAI expertise.Proven experience in:Satellite imagery analysisGeospatial computer visionSpatial predictive modelingSpatial machine learningHands-on experience with:ArcGIS, QGIS, Google Earth EngineGDAL, RasterioPython, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learnGeoPandas, ShapelyPostGIS or GeoPackageExperience integrating AI models into enterprise GIS environments.PreferredExperience with ArcGIS Deep Learning and ArcGIS Image Analyst.Expertise in handling large-scale geospatial datasets and enterprise GIS platforms.Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
