GIS Enterprise Core Infrastructure Engineer

Responsibilities:Design, implement, configure, and administer ArcGIS Enterprise environments.Manage ArcGIS Enterprise components, including Portal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Data Store, and ArcGIS Web Adaptor.Install, configure, upgrade, patch, and maintain ArcGIS Enterprise across development, test, and production environments.Manage high availability, disaster recovery, backup, and restoration strategies for GIS platforms.Configure and manage ArcGIS Server sites, federated servers, hosting servers, services, and service publishing.Manage Enterprise Geodatabase environments and integrations with databases; Monitor GIS infrastructure performance, availability, capacity, and system health.Troubleshoot complex issues related to ArcGIS Enterprise, services, databases, networking, and integrations.Implement GIS security, authentication, authorization, SSL certificates, and role-based access.Integrate ArcGIS Enterprise with Active Directory / LDAP, SSO, and enterprise security infrastructure.Develop and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, SOPs, and operational procedures.Support GIS migration, version upgrades, environment refreshes, and production deployments; Provide technical leadership and mentor junior GIS Enterprise administrators and engineers.Required Technical Skills8+ years of experience in GIS Enterprise / GIS Infrastructure with strong hands-on experience with Esri ArcGIS Enterprise.ArcGIS Enterprise Portal, ArcGIS Server, Data Store, Web Adaptor; ArcGIS Enterprise federation and distributed GIS architecture.ArcGIS Enterprise installation, configuration, upgrade, patching, and troubleshooting.Enterprise Geodatabase and database connectivity.Strong knowledge of Windows Server and/or Linux environments.Experience with IIS, Web Adaptor, SSL/TLS, certificates, DNS, networking, and load balancing.Knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP, SSO, authentication, and authorization.Experience with GIS backup, recovery, high availability, and disaster recovery; Performance monitoring and optimization of ArcGIS Enterprise environments.Experience with ArcGIS REST API and enterprise GIS integrations.
