Glazing Technical Lead

Pay: 5,000.00 (SAR) - 7,000.00 (SAR) per monthJob description:Experience: 7-12 YearsIndustry: Aluminium Windows, Doors, Facade & GlazingJob Summary:We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead - Glazing to lead our aluminium windows & doors technical design, estimation, and execution. Candidate must have strong knowledge of aluminium extrusion systems, glazing, hardware, and US/EU standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Design & Engineering:- Prepare technical drawings, shop drawings, section details for aluminium sliding, casement, lift & slide, curtain wall systems.- Perform structural calculations for wind load, glass thickness (10mm/12mm/IGU), mullion sizing.- Work on software: AutoCAD, excel.1. Glazing Expertise:- Knowledge of glass types: Toughened, Laminated, DGU, Low-E, Heat Soak Tested glass.- Glass selection as per energy codes - NFRC, ENERGY STAR for USA projects.- Handle glazing fixing details - U-channel, structural glazing, toggles, EPDM gaskets.1. Production & Site Coordination:- Guide fabrication team for cutting list, assembly.- Resolve site technical issues, water leakage testing, air infiltration testing.- Quality check as per AAMA standards.1. Team Leadership:- Lead team of 2-3 CAD designers / draftsmen.- Train site team on installation best practices.

Required Skills

• Deep knowledge of aluminium systems: Domal, Aluk, Technal, Schuco, Reynaers, Hindalco- Software: AutoCAD 2D/3D mandatory, Logikal / Schucal / Orgadata is big plus- Knowledge of USA standards: AAMA, NFRC, ASTM - preferred- Understanding of thermal break vs non-thermal break systemsQualification:- Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical / Civil / Architecture- Certification in Facade Engineering is plusSalary: 5-7k SR
