Global Equity Research Analyst

Our client is a global investment management firm who is looking to hire an Equity Research Analyst to join the Global Equities platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for a number of sectors, aligned with their background and experience. Working alongside an experienced team of investors, they will play a key role in driving stock selection across a range of long-only equity strategies including Global, International and European funds.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct deep, bottom-up fundamental research on listed companies across global marketsDevelop and maintain detailed financial models, forecasts and valuation frameworksGenerate differentiated investment insights through rigorous analysis of industries, competitive dynamics and company fundamentalsMonitor macroeconomic, sector and company-specific developments relevant to portfolio holdings and prospective investmentsPrepare clear, high-quality research reports and discuss recommendations with portfolio managersEngage directly with company management teams, industry experts and sell-side research professionalsCollaborate closely with other analysts and portfolio managers, actively contributing to research meetings and portfolio discussions Candidate Requirements4-8 years of experience in buy-side fundamental research, candidates from the sell-side will not be consideredStrong academic credentials and CFA qualificationGenuine passion for investing and public markets, with a long-term mindsetStrong financial modelling and valuation skillsAbility to form independent views and communicate investment ideas with conviction and clarityCollaborative approach and genuine enthusiasm for working within a high-performing investment teamLow ego with a willingness to learn and challenge ideas constructively
