Global Finance Director📍 Location: United Arab Emirates (UAE) 🏡 Work Arrangement: Hybrid / Remote (where applicable) 🕒 Employment Type: Full-time 🎯 Experience Level: Director / ExecutiveAbout the RoleWe are looking for an experienced, strategic, and commercially minded Global Finance Director to lead the company's international finance function and support sustainable business growth.The successful candidate will oversee financial planning, reporting, accounting, treasury, controls, and performance management across multiple markets and entities. Working closely with the CFO, CEO, Board, and senior leadership team, the Global Finance Director will provide financial insight and strategic recommendations to support business performance and long-term value creation.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and oversee the global finance function across multiple entities and markets.Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company's global business objectives.Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, accounting, treasury, and financial controls.Take responsibility for consolidated financial performance and management reporting.Monitor revenue, profitability, cash flow, liquidity, working capital, and key financial KPIs.Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial-planning processes.Develop financial models, business scenarios, forecasts, and performance analysis.Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of financial information across business units.Manage consolidation and reporting activities across international subsidiaries.Review financial performance across regions and identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.Provide strategic financial analysis and recommendations to the CFO, CEO, and senior leadership.Support commercial decision-making, market expansion, investments, and strategic business initiatives.Oversee global cash-flow management, treasury activities, banking relationships, and liquidity planning.Develop strategies to improve working capital and optimize cash utilization.Establish and maintain strong financial controls, policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.Identify and manage financial, operational, and business risks.Oversee tax planning and compliance activities across relevant jurisdictions.Support UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and other applicable statutory requirements where relevant.Coordinate external audits, internal reviews, and financial compliance activities.Manage relationships with auditors, banks, tax advisors, financial institutions, and professional advisors.Oversee finance systems, ERP platforms, reporting tools, and financial data infrastructure.Lead finance transformation, automation, standardization, and process-improvement initiatives.Establish consistent financial processes and reporting standards across global operations.Develop and monitor global finance KPIs and performance dashboards.Partner with Operations, Sales, Marketing, Procurement, HR, and other departments to improve business performance.Lead cost-control and efficiency-improvement initiatives across the organization.Support M&A, fundraising, financing, investment, and other strategic transactions where applicable.Lead, mentor, and develop regional finance leaders and accounting teams.Build a high-performing international finance organization with clear responsibilities and performance standards.Support expansion into new markets and jurisdictions from a financial and operational perspective.Ensure appropriate financial governance across subsidiaries and business units.Prepare executive-level financial reports, forecasts, risk assessments, and recommendations.Maintain strict confidentiality when handling financial, commercial, and strategic information.Perform other strategic finance responsibilities assigned by senior management.What We're Looking ForStrong global finance leadership and commercial-management experience.Excellent understanding of corporate finance, accounting, financial reporting, and FP&A.Strong P&L, cash-flow, treasury, and working-capital management experience.Proven experience managing multi-entity or international finance operations.Strong knowledge of financial controls, governance, and risk management.Excellent analytical, strategic-thinking, and decision-making skills.Ability to translate complex financial information into clear business recommendations.Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.Excellent stakeholder-management and negotiation skills.Ability to work effectively with CEOs, CFOs, Boards, investors, banks, auditors, and senior executives.Strong understanding of international business and financial operations.High level of integrity, accountability, confidentiality, and professionalism.Ability to operate in a fast-paced, international, and multicultural environment.Strong English communication and presentation skills.Arabic language skills are an advantage.UAE / GCC experience is highly desirable.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CA, CMA, or equivalent is strongly preferred.MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage.Typically 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including significant management responsibility.Previous experience as a Finance Director, Global Finance Director, Regional Finance Director, Group Finance Director, Deputy CFO, or equivalent senior finance leader is preferred.Proven experience managing finance functions across multiple entities or countries.Strong experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, treasury, and financial controls.Experience with consolidated reporting and multi-currency financial operations is highly desirable.Experience working with Boards, shareholders, investors, banks, auditors, and professional advisors is an advantage.Experience with M&A, fundraising, financing, or strategic investment activities is beneficial.Strong ERP, financial-reporting, and financial-analysis experience.Knowledge of
