At Champions Group, we foster an environment of innovation, collaboration, and professional growth.Role Overview :-We are looking for an experienced Global Procurement & Strategic Sourcing professional to lead end-to-end procurement for a large-scale luxury development comprising lagoon-side luxury villas, an Experience Centre, Longevity & Wellness Centre, Clubhouse, hospitality and lifestyle facilities, and supporting infrastructure.The role requires a strong understanding of international sourcing, vendor development, import procurement, commercial negotiations, quality assessment and supplier due diligence. The ideal candidate should have experience managing procurement for large real estate, hospitality, luxury residential, township or mixed-use development projects.Key Responsibilities1. Global Strategic Sourcing* Consolidate import requirements across all Champions Group companies.* Evaluate products identified by management from Alibaba, Made-in-China, Global Sources, trade fairs, manufacturers, and other global suppliers.* Identify and negotiate directly with manufacturers wherever possible.* Develop long-term strategic supplier relationships.2. Import Planning & Consolidation* Consolidate shipments from multiple suppliers to reduce freight costs.* Intelligently group shipments by country, region, supplier, and destination.* Decide when LCL, FCL, air freight, courier, or multimodal logistics provide the best value.* Minimize the number of shipments while maintaining project timelines.3. Landed Cost Optimization* Calculate total landed cost before every purchase, including: * Product cost * Freight * Insurance * Customs duty * IGST/GST * Port charges * CHA charges * CFS charges * Transportation * Documentation * Any hidden costs* Present multiple sourcing options with complete cost comparisons.4. International Trade ExpertiseBecome the in-house expert on:* EXW* FCA* FOB* CFR* CIF* DAP* DDP* LCL* FCL* Air freight* Sea freight* Incoterms* International payment methods* Letters of Credit* International logistics documentationTrain and educate internal teams regularly on import best practices.5. Customs & Government Incentives* Identify opportunities to legally reduce import costs.* Obtain and manage EPCG approvals and other government incentive schemes.* Evaluate Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) and preferential duty structures.* Identify duty-free or lower-duty sourcing countries wherever commercially beneficial.* Ensure full compliance with DGFT, Customs, GST, RBI, and FEMA regulations.6. Freight & Logistics Management* Identify the nearest and most efficient ports of origin and destination.* Compare sea, air, and multimodal transport options.* Reduce transit time without unnecessary cost.* Monitor shipments proactively until final delivery.7. Vendor & Service ProcurementBefore approving any purchase or service:* Obtain a minimum of two to three competitive quotations.* Benchmark pricing internationally.* Negotiate better commercial terms.* Challenge unnecessary costs.* Build an approved supplier database.8. Financial Control* Verify every invoice before payment.* Ensure payments align with purchase orders and contracts.* Prevent duplicate or unnecessary payments.* Maintain accurate landed-cost reports.* Forecast import cash flow requirements.9. Risk Management* Monitor supplier reliability.* Ensure adequate cargo insurance.* Prevent delays, demurrage, detention, and storage charges.* Resolve customs or logistics issues proactively.10.
