Global Operations Manager

Location: Coimbatore, Tamil NaduType: Full-timeReports to: FoundersAbout the RoleWe are looking for a highly driven, entrepreneurial Operations Manager to take ownership of our global operations—from overseas vendors and procurement to shipping, customs, inventory, warehousing, and final delivery.This is a hands-on role. We are not necessarily looking for someone with a traditional supply-chain background. We are looking for a smart, highly organized problem-solver who learns quickly, takes ownership, and is willing to roll up their sleeves and get things done.You will work directly with the founders and play a critical role in building and managing our growing operational infrastructure.Key ResponsibilitiesManage relationships and day-to-day communication with overseas vendors, service providers, and manufacturers.Manage procurement, purchase orders, production timelines, and vendor follow-ups.Coordinate international shipping, freight forwarders, customs clearance, and cross-border logistics.Track shipments from supplier to warehouse and proactively resolve delays or issues.Manage inventory across suppliers, warehouses, and fulfillment locations.Monitor stock levels, reorder points, lead times, inventory turns, and working capital.Coordinate warehouse receiving, transfers, fulfillment, and inventory discrepancies.Analyze operational data, costs, ratios, and performance to identify opportunities for improvement.Build and improve processes and systems as the business scales.Work directly with the founders on operational priorities and special projects.Who We’re Looking ForWe care more about how you think and operate than the exact industry you come from.You should be:Highly entrepreneurial and self-driven.A natural problem-solver who doesn't wait for instructions.Extremely organized and detail-oriented.Comfortable working with numbers, Excel/Google Sheets, and operational data.A fast learner who is comfortable figuring things out independently.Confident communicating with international vendors, logistics partners, and service providers.Comfortable working directly with founders and handling ambiguity.Willing to roll up your sleeves and do the work yourself.Someone who focuses on outcomes rather than watching the clock.Supply-chain experience is preferred but not mandatory.
