About the Role

We are seeking a Global Partnerships Portfolio Lead to identify, develop, and manage strategic relationships with international organizations, institutions, and companies that advance our mission and business objectives. This role sits at the intersection of relationship management, negotiation, and strategic planning, building partnerships that are mutually valuable and sustainable over the long term, across multiple regions and cultures.Key ResponsibilitiesPartnership Strategy & Development:Identify and evaluate potential global partners aligned with organizational goals and growth strategy.Develop the business case, value proposition, and engagement approach for each new partnership opportunity.Build a pipeline of prospective partners across target regions/sectors.Relationship & Account Management:Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of strategic partners, maintaining strong, trust-based relationships.Manage the full partnership lifecycle in coordination with the Partnerships Team: outreach, negotiation, contracting, onboarding, activation, and renewal.Proactively resolve conflicts or misaligned expectations between the organization and partners.Negotiation & Contracting:Lead commercial and non-commercial negotiations, structuring terms that create mutual value.Work with the Partnerships Negotiation Team to draft, review, and finalize partnership agreements (MOUs, contracts, SLAs).Cross-Functional Coordination:Collaborate with Marketing, Collections, Exhibitions, Legal, and relevant teams to ensure partnerships are initiated and executed effectively.Oversee partnership execution by coordinating with Asaan’s Team and maintain monthly reporting on partnership updates.Coordinate joint initiatives, co-branded campaigns, events, or programs with partners.Performance & Reporting:Define KPIs and success metrics for each partnership; track and report on performance regularly.Prepare partnership performance reports and strategic recommendations for leadership.Continuously assess ROI and recommend whether to scale, adjust, or sunset partnerships.Representation:Represent the organization at international conferences, summits, and industry events.Coordinate protocol, hospitality, and stakeholder engagement for high-level partner visits and delegations, where applicable.

Requirements

5+ years in partnerships, business development, alliance management, or related relationship-management roles.Strong global perspective, with a demonstrated understanding of international politics, diplomacy, and geopolitical dynamics as they relate to cross-border partnerships and government relations. Familiarity with diplomatic protocol, bilateral/multilateral relations, and the sensitivities involved in engaging government, ministerial, or state-level counterparts.Demonstrated experience negotiating and managing agreements with international organizations.Experience working with international/cross-cultural stakeholders, including government, corporate, or NGO counterparts.Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills, including with senior/VIP-level contacts.Excellent written and verbal communication in English (additional languages a plus).Strategic thinking with the ability to translate high-level goals into actionable partnership plans.Project management skills; comfortable managing multiple partnerships simultaneously.Proficiency with CRM and partnership-tracking tools.EducationBachelor's degree in Business, International Relations, Public Relations, or related field (Master's preferred but not required).OtherWillingness to travel internationally as needed.Cultural sensitivity and adaptability across regions and business norms.
