Our International GCSE Global Skills Projects, delivered with OxfordAQA, give students a skills-based, project-led qualification.The roleYou'll be the familiar face our direct students see each week – teaching live online sessions, mentoring them through their Global Skills Projects and making sure every student stays on track to succeed.What you'll do- Deliver engaging live online lessons and small-group mentor sessions- Provide 1:1 mentoring and help students understand briefs, assessment objectives and coursework expectations- Monitor attendance, engagement and progress, and step in early when a student needs support- Give clear, constructive feedback on student work- Be the first point of contact for students and parents on learning queries- Support assessment and moderation in line with OxfordAQA requirements- Help shape how we teach the programme, working with our Head of EducationWhat you'll bring- Qualified teacher with experience teaching secondary-aged students- Confident leading live online lessons and small-group sessions- Strong understanding of teaching, learning and assessment- Clear, friendly communicator with students and parents- Organised, reliable and quick to pick up new technology- A British teaching qualification (QTS or PGCE) is strongly preferred- Online or blended teaching and GCSE coursework experience are a plusWhat we offer- Hybrid working – remote, with one day a week in our Dubai office- Annual leave that grows with length of service, plus UAE public holidays- A monthly wellbeing half-day and your birthday off- A winter break over Christmas and New Year, with extra paid days gifted by 8billionideas- Health insurance, UAE visa sponsorship and end-of-service gratuityHow to applyApply via LinkedIn or send your CV and a short cover letter to recruitment@8billionideas.com by close of business on Friday 23 October 2026.This role involves working with young people.
