Our Bydgoszcz site is part of an international network of production facilities.About the RoleWe are looking for a Global Category Sourcing Manager to develop and implement the sourcing strategy for a selected group of direct materials and components.
You will turn spend and market analysis into a clear supplier strategy, negotiate agreements and work with one of our 5 main manufacturing sites to put that strategy into practice. Your work will have a direct impact on cost, quality and continuity of supply.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement a global sourcing strategy for your assigned category of materials or components.Analyse spend, pricing and market trends to identify savings opportunities.Select and develop suppliers, and negotiate agreements and commercial terms that support manufacturing sites in different countries.Lead sourcing projects that improve cost, quality, delivery performance and inventory levels.Work with suppliers to ensure their capacity supports future production needs.Identify supply chain risks and develop plans to maintain continuity of supply.Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Finance and Sourcing teams to implement changes and new solutions.Track category performance, including savings, supplier results and payment terms.QualificationsAt least a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, Business or a related field.Required SkillsAt least 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing or category management within an international manufacturing environment.Experience sourcing direct materials and negotiating with suppliers.Ability to build a sourcing strategy based on data, market knowledge and the needs of manufacturing sites.Understanding of manufacturing processes, material cost drivers and supply chain management.Experience leading projects and working with teams across countries and business functions.Experience with ERP systems and strong Excel skills.Strong English communication skills, including the ability to negotiate and collaborate internationally.Willingness to travel.Preferred SkillsExperience in an international manufacturing environment (as specified above) is particularly valued.Pay range and compensation packageWHAT WE OFFER:Competitive salary package (up to 30k PLN Gross / per month)Ownership of an international sourcing category and a meaningful role in shaping supplier relationships.Collaboration with manufacturing sites and teams across different countries.The opportunity to develop sourcing strategies, lead negotiations and put your ideas for improvement into practice.Private medical careGroup life and accident insurance from PLN 1 per monthSubsidized meals and beverages available in the company canteenAnnual bonus of up to 5%Fit Profit sports card co-financed through the Company Social Benefits Fund (ZFŚS)For any questions, please feel free to contact the person responsible for recruitment for this position:Recruiter: Łukasz Sachamail: lukasz.sacha@spxflow.comPlease be advised that the procedures for submitting and investigating internal reports made by whistleblowers at SPX Flow Technology Poland Sp. z o.o., Rolbieskiego 2, 85-862 Bydgoszcz, are defined in the "Whistleblower Reporting Procedure", available at: https://www.spxflow.com/assets/pdf/spxflow-whistleblower-protection-policy-pl.pdfEqual Opportunity StatementSPX FLOW is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive environment.
