Global Sourcing Specialist

We sell across our own website, marketplaces, and quick commerce platforms, and we're building a customer-first team that delivers an exceptional shopping experience.We’re looking for a Global Sourcing Specialist who enjoys finding the right products, sourcing reliable vendors, and negotiating competitive deals. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and takes ownership of the sourcing process while building strong supplier relationships.Key Responsibilities-Source products and identify manufacturers/suppliers from China and other international markets.Find and evaluate suppliers through platforms such as Alibaba, 1688, Made-in-China, and other relevant sourcing channels.Communicate with international suppliers to understand product specifications, pricing, MOQ, lead time, packaging, and payment terms.Negotiate with suppliers to achieve the best possible pricing, quality, MOQ, and commercial terms.Research new and trending products relevant to the e-commerce market.Compare multiple suppliers and evaluate them based on pricing, quality, reliability, production capacity, and delivery timelines.Coordinate for product samples, customization, branding, packaging, and quality requirements.Maintain strong relationships with international suppliers and regularly follow up on orders.Coordinate with internal teams for product requirements, costing, inventory, and procurement planning.Track orders and ensure timely production, dispatch, and delivery.Resolve issues related to quality, delays, incorrect specifications, damages, or supplier commitments.Maintain accurate records of suppliers, product details, quotations, negotiations, and purchase orders.Identify opportunities for cost optimization and improved product margins.Requirements-1–2 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, buying, or vendor management.E-commerce experience will be highly preferred.Hands-on experience with Alibaba, 1688, or other international sourcing platforms is preferred.Strong negotiation, communication, and supplier management skills.Good understanding of product costing, MOQ, lead times, and margins.Good knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets.Strong follow-up skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently in a fast-paced e-commerce environment.Preferred QualificationsAny Graduation/Post Graduation.What We're Looking ForSomeone who can take ownership of international sourcing from finding the right Chinese supplier to negotiating the deal, managing samples, coordinating orders, and ensuring timely delivery.Why Join Modern Casa?Opportunity to work with a fast-growing consumer brand.Learn and grow in the e-commerce and D2C ecosystem.Friendly, collaborative, and startup-driven work environment.Direct exposure to business operations and customer experience.Competitive salary and long-term growth opportunities.Job TypeFull-timeOn-site (Gurugram)
