Job Role: Global Supply Chain Manager (Procurement & Manufacturing Operations)Location: Coimbatore, TNExperience: 8–12 YearsWe are looking for an experienced and high-performing Global Supply Chain Manager to lead and manage end-to-end supply chain, procurement, global logistics, vendor development, supplier quality, and manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities:Manage global logistics and international shipments across USA, Europe, India & APAC regions.Optimize freight modes, shipment planning, delivery timelines, and logistics costs.Drive supply chain planning to ensure material availability and minimize stock-outs.Manage inventory levels and improve demand and forecast accuracy.Develop and manage a strong supplier and vendor ecosystem.Handle vendor identification, qualification, RFQs, negotiations, and commercial discussions.Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and avoid production delays.Support supplier quality processes, including approved vendor management, documentation, corrective actions, and compliance requirements.Manage import/export activities, including HS codes, duties, customs processes, and shipment documentation.Track and monitor key supply chain KPIs, including On-Time Delivery, inventory, delays, and logistics costs.Build dashboards and reports to support operational decision-making and continuous improvement.Identify opportunities for cost optimization, process improvement, and supply chain efficiency.Work closely with manufacturing, engineering, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.Apply knowledge of manufacturing processes such as CNC machining, sheet metal, polymers, silicone, and product assemblies while working with suppliers and production teams.Required Skills & Qualifications:8+ years of experience in Global Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, Manufacturing Operations.Strong experience in international logistics, global shipments, and import/export operations.Proven expertise in procurement, vendor development, supplier qualification, RFQs, and commercial negotiations.Strong understanding of inventory management, supply planning, and demand forecasting.Experience working with manufacturing suppliers and vendor shopfloor environments.Knowledge of supplier quality, CAPA, documentation, and regulated manufacturing practices.Understanding of manufacturing processes for metal and non-metal components.Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Zoho, etc.Experience with Advanced Excel, Power BI, Zoho Analytics, or similar reporting/dashboard tools is preferred.Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced global environment.Candidates with experience Medical Devices, MedTech and Manufacturing domain will be preferred.
