The company uses a proactive, customized approach grounded in Integrated Pest Management (IPM) principles to control pests with minimal use of chemicals, focusing on safety and effectiveness for clients and communities.Role Description The GM’s Assistant at Orkin Myanmar is a full-time, on-site role based in Yangon, providing daily administrative and coordination support to the General Manager. This role includes managing calendars, scheduling meetings, organizing travel arrangements, and preparing documents, reports, and presentations. The GM’s Assistant helps coordinate internal and external communications, supports follow-up on key action items, and assists with basic data entry and record-keeping related to operations and business development. The position also involves organizing meetings and events, maintaining confidential files, and ensuring smooth office workflows so the General Manager can focus on strategic and operational priorities. The GM’s Assistant collaborates closely with cross-functional teams and maintains professional relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.Qualifications Strong administrative and organizational skills, including calendar management, document preparation, and record-keeping.Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate with internal teams and external partners professionally.Proficiency in common office software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, presentation tools) and comfort with basic data entry and reporting.Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workloads, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.High level of integrity, reliability, and discretion when handling confidential information.Fluency in English and Myanmar language (written and spoken) is highly beneficial.Prior experience in an executive assistant, administrative assistant, or coordination role is an advantage.Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field is preferred.
