GNC System Engineer

We're seeking an experienced Guidance, Navigation & Control (GNC) Systems Engineer to support the development of advanced defense and autonomous aerial systems. This role will focus on guidance algorithms, flight-control systems, target-interception capabilities, and system integration for next-generation UAV and defense platforms.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) algorithms for interceptors and autonomous UAVs.Expert in designing guidance methods including Proportional Navigation (PN) algorithms and its variants.Model and simulate flight dynamics, control systems, and interception guidance scenariosFully understand the IR/IIR seeker systems for target tracking and how to be used for guidance and interceptionTune and validate autopilot and flight-control systems for stability and performance to achieve guidance objectivesPerform Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing prior to actual testingAnalyze flight-test and simulation data to evaluate system accuracy and reliabilityCollaborate with avionics, communication, and propulsion teams for system integrationQualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Control Systems, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Guidance, Navigation & Control engineering.Mandatory experience in defense programs involving missile, interceptor, air-defense, loitering munition, or military UAV systems.Strong knowledge of: Flight dynamics, Guidance algorithms, Control systems, State estimation and navigation systems, Autonomous flight systemsPractical experience with: Proportional Navigation (PN) or equivalent guidance methods, MATLAB/Simulink C/C++ and/or Python, Embedded aerospace systems, HIL/SIL testing environmentsExperience working with flight-control architectures, autopilots, and safety-critical aerospace systems.
