The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Go, REST APIs, microservices architecture, cloud platforms, and modern software development practices.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and maintain backend applications using Golang (Go).Build scalable and highly available microservices and RESTful APIs.Develop clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable Go code.Work with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar technologies.Design and implement API integrations with internal and external systems.Work with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized application deployment.Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar.Troubleshoot performance, scalability, and production issues.Implement unit testing, integration testing, and automated testing for Go applications.Collaborate with architects, DevOps engineers, QA teams, product managers, and other developers.Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical design and architecture decisions.Monitor application health and performance using observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Datadog, or Dynatrace.Follow Agile/Scrum development methodologies and participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.Required Skills5+ years of software development experience with strong Golang expertise.Strong knowledge of Go programming language, Go routines, channels, concurrency, and memory management.Hands-on experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices.Strong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.Experience with Git and CI/CD practices.Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.Preferred SkillsExperience with gRPC and Protocol Buffers.Experience with Kafka or other messaging systems.Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.Experience with Terraform, Helm, or Argo CD.Experience with Linux/Unix environments.Knowledge of event-driven architecture.Experience with cloud-native application development.Knowledge of observability and performance monitoring.
