Our Product Development Team designs, develops, and enhances cutting-edge platforms and solutions by combining strong engineering practices, user-centric design, and AI-first innovation.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and production-grade services using Go.Build robust RESTful and gRPC APIs using Go frameworks and libraries such as Gin, Echo, Fiber, or net/http.Develop highly concurrent and performant services using idiomatic Go, goroutines, channels, and appropriate concurrency patterns.Design and implement scalable backend architectures and independently solution, architect, and implement features end-to-end.Work extensively with PostgreSQL and relational databases, including schema design, indexing, query optimisation, transactions, and performance tuning.Develop and maintain integrations with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.Containerise and deploy backend applications using Docker and modern cloud deployment practices.Write comprehensive unit, integration, and API tests using Go testing, Testify, or similar frameworks.Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality, security, scalability, maintainability, and performance.Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, product managers, and other cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end product features.Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement reliable and scalable solutions.Use AI coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Antigravity, or Windsurf as part of the primary development workflow.Critically review, validate, refactor, and improve AI-generated code for correctness, security, performance, and maintainability.Stay updated with modern Go ecosystem developments, backend engineering practices, cloud technologies, and AI-assisted development tools.Key Skills & Requirements1.5+ years of professional experience in backend software engineering with strong hands-on experience in Go.Strong proficiency in Go, including:Idiomatic Go programmingGoroutines and channelsConcurrency and parallelismError handlingInterfaces and compositionContext managementMemory and performance considerationsStrong experience building production-grade RESTful and gRPC APIs using Go.Hands-on experience with Go frameworks and libraries such as Gin, Echo, Fiber, or net/http.Strong understanding of backend architecture, API design, service-oriented architecture, and scalable application development.Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL and relational databasesHands-on experience with Docker and containerised application development.Practical experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Azure.Experience with testing frameworks and practices such as Go testing, Testify, unit testing, integration testing, and API testing.Good understanding of Git, code reviews, debugging, logging, monitoring, and production troubleshooting.Ability to independently analyse requirements, architect solutions, and implement features with minimal supervision.Good understanding of security, scalability, performance, and maintainability in backend systems.Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in Agile/Scrum environments.MANDATORY — Vibe Coding & AI-Assisted DevelopmentHands-on experience with vibe coding — using AI tools to drive code generation, iteration, debugging, and problem-solving.Proficiency in at least one AI coding IDE/tool such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Antigravity, or Windsurf.Strong prompt-engineering skills to create precise prompts for generating, refactoring, optimising, and debugging Go code.Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated code and refine it for correctness, security, performance, scalability, and maintainability.Ability to effectively combine AI-assisted development with strong software engineering fundamentals.Keeps up to date with the latest AI development tools, coding workflows, and best practices.
