We are looking for a Governance Operations Lead to operationalise its AI governance framework (AIMS) across the enterprise. You will embed governance controls into AI lifecycle management processes, platforms, and project delivery pipelines so that AI adoption is scalable, automated, and auditable – without slowing down innovation.This is a hands‑on, senior individual‑contributor role that sits at the intersection of AI/ML, MLOps, governance, risk, and enterprise architecture. You will own the AI governance operating model, AI registry/inventory, and the day‑to‑day mechanics that make responsible AI real in production.What you’ll doDrive implementation of AI governance processes across the end‑to‑end AI lifecycle: data, development, validation, deployment, monitoring, and retirement.Embed governance controls into AI/ML platforms, MLOps pipelines, and AI lifecycle management so compliance is built into delivery, not bolted on.Own AI governance operations, including:AI Registry and model/agent inventoryAI asset tiering and risk classificationApprovals, attestations, and exception managementEvidence management for audits and regulatorsDesign and implement governance automation to improve compliance, reduce manual effort, and avoid policy‑based governance that is disconnected from delivery.Ensure traceability, auditability, and transparency of AI assets, models, and decisions across the enterprise.Develop governance metrics, dashboards, and KPIs to measure compliance, adoption, risk, and effectiveness.Partner with Data & AI, IDSO, Enterprise Architecture, IT Engineering, and CISO teams to integrate governance into enterprise platforms and ways of working.Support regulatory, audit, and assurance activities through robust evidence management and reporting.Drive continuous improvement of governance processes, tooling, and operating models.What you’ll bring8–12+ years of experience in AI/ML, technology operations, governance, risk, or digital transformation.Proven experience implementing enterprise governance processes and operating models, ideally for AI/ML or advanced analytics.Hands‑on experience with AI/ML platforms, MLOps, DevSecOps, or data platforms, and embedding controls into these environments.Track record of operationalising controls and driving enterprise adoption at scale.Deep understanding ofAI lifecycle management and MLOpsGovernance process design and automationAI risk, controls, and complianceData and model management platforms (registries, inventories, lineage)Metrics, reporting, and operational excellenceStrong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across organizational boundaries and balance governance rigor with business agility.Behaviours and mindsetSystems thinker with a strong operational mindset.Focused on simplification, automation, and scalability.Comfortable working in a complex, matrixed environment with multiple workstreams and senior stakeholders.Outcome‑oriented: you care about adoption, risk reduction, and measurable impact, not just documentation.
