The Governess will oversee the children’s daily educational activities, including planning lessons, supervising homework, and supporting school curriculum where applicable. Responsibilities include organizing age-appropriate learning exercises, reading and language activities, and fostering good study habits. The role involves maintaining consistent routines, accompanying children to educational or cultural outings, and liaising with parents and teachers on academic progress and behavior. The Governess will also promote social skills, manners, and independence, while ensuring a safe, supportive, and engaging environment tailored to each child’s needs.QualificationsStrong background in early childhood education.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide clear guidance, constructive feedback, and positive reinforcement to children.Proven capacity to maintain structure and routines, manage time effectively, and organize daily schedules and activities.High level of discretion, professionalism, and integrity when working in a private household setting.Cultural sensitivity and the ability to work respectfully with families from diverse backgrounds.Previous experience as a Governess or nanny in a similar environment is highly beneficial.Ability to maintain a safe environment, including awareness of basic child safety and first aid; formal first aid training is an advantage.Flexibility to adapt to the family’s schedule and needs, and a genuine commitment to children’s well-being and long-term development.
